dam dude, i had similar problem when i put my new engine in my 79 vette, i spent countless hours and money on the engine, well i put on a chrome oil pan and installed the motor and it ran like a raped ape for a month, problem was i never made sure the drain plug was tight so in the end the engine siezed in my driveway, an old motor head told me to put non-detergent motor oil in it and it worked, runs fine but no rear brakes and i am too busy playing with my mustang now to fix it good luck

Try flushing the gas tank the same way, just hook the hose on up and see if she'll start.

If you really did this and are not pulling our legs. ..................
your engine may not be too bad off.
All the internal parts are probably still ok, and I doubt you damaged the block.
It might be ok with a simple dissamble and replace all the bushings, bearings and other wear parts.
You just cant tell until the engine is completely taken apart and inspected.
A new overhaul for a stock engine should run you about $2-2,500

This guy is giving us the business... I'll bet he don't even have a mustang... He's prolly sitting behind a computer choking his chicken and giving himself a prostate exam while he's laughing at the folks who think he's serious.
