Default car overheating....not sure what problem could be...

My car has been running real hot and im not sure what the problem is. I just put new coolant in there and replaced some hoses and the thermostat. I know that the coolant is going threw and thermostat is opening and i know there enough coolant in there. I have a feeling that somethings getting clogged up somewhere or something, if this could happen? Any idea if this could be happening and what i can do to get everything flowing correct, because this is the only thing i can see as causing the problem? Any ideas?

good question, also does it have the stock fan or an electric fan, and are you sure either or is working correctly?

warm the car up at idle and then take it for a hard rip around town. go back then check the overflow container. if you see bubbles in the overflow similar those ones you can make with a straw and milk, then it maybe your head gasket. what happends is that on compression, your pistion(s) force exahust gas passed your HG and into your coolant system.

There are no fluids leaking and ill start the car let it warm up, and then ill start driving it. It just keeps getting hotter, whether im sitting or not. I have an electric fan, and it is working. Also i did the head gaskets about a month ago. It ran hot before then too, so i think i can eliminate the head gaskets. Do you know of any additive i can add or anyhing that can unclog things?

Check these few things first.

[ol][*]Go out check all your connections, relays, and fuses to your electric fan. Some fans are two speed and it may be running at the lower speed.[*]how old is your water pump? I had a leaky water pump replaced it and then I started having overheating problems. I first thought that it was all the crud that let loose when I did the flush, but even after new radiator it still got hot time to time. What happend was the waterpump I bought had some divots on the impellar causing cativation and not providing a good flow of water through the system. These divots also form on older water pumps also. For 30 bucks and a few hours of work it may fix your problems.
[/ol]Good Luck!

Buy some radiator flush and use a garden hose and flush the heck out of it. See if that helps.

Yeah, sounds like a clogged/inadequete radiator.

+1 on flushing it to see if it makes any difference.
