Default 1989-92 Mustang Plans (look good?)

I'm looking to push a little over 300 at the wheels. This is the plans I have for the car (more will come later). I haven't purchased it, but am looking for a good deal right now (Lx notchback 5.0)

Holley Systemax II kit
(includes)
Lunati roller camshaft, P/N 51027LUN
Holley upper and lower shiny intake manifold,
Holley double roller timing chain and gears
Fully assembled Holley 17° valve aluminum cylinder heads
Hardened push rods
ARP® cylinder head bolts

BBK Ceramic Coated Long Headers (equal length)

BBK H-pipe (with cats)

American Thunder Flowmaster Cat-Back (40 series)

Ebay CAI + K&N Cone Filter

(Later mods: new gears, suspension, sticky tires)

Any suggestions? Also, what little parts would you suggest?

do you have smog testing, if not i would recommend not going with cat back. Also i personally would switch the headers to long tubes. Also, just an fyi, the general rule of thumb is to do suspension mods, and then hp, but no one ever listens. Also, gears should be one of the first mods done on a car, its the best bang for the buck mod. You will also need sub frame connectors no matter what.

also, its good to set goals, but dont think that your necessarily going to hit them. If i were you, depending on milage of the motor i wouldnt hope for much over 300rwhp. I personally would set a goal of 300 even. These cars can really really move with that kinda power.

Yeah, I know it'd be better to do suspension and gears then adding horses, but I just can't help but want the sound of more ponies and the look of more power under the hood. I want it like yesterday.

I did suspension/gears/drag radials first...but 300 at the wheels sounds like a solid goal

you should also look into a large maf and tb to compliment the h/c/i.

If you are still looking for a Notch I'm selling this one. I've decided to build a Fairmont instead. Just something a little odd. So this car is for sale.

PERTANO,

I am still looking.

Perhaps email me price, mods, miles, etc...?

EDIT: I was thinking of going with a 70mm MAF off of Marquis (i think, need to double check that). The throttle body comes with the Systemax II kit.

also look into upgrading your fuel system...255lph pump, 24* injecors, etc..
