nice to see im not the only one with rust in all those places....now when you go to fix it what are you going to do? you mentioned new metal are you just going to get the same guage steel and weld a new piece into place? im curious as to how your gonna go about fixing it. im going to start mine in the spring (too cold around here)
I have actual patch panels I got from a parts car for a majority of the areas. If I need more than I have, I will try and get some sheetmetal around the same thickness and fab up some patch panels. They will all be welded into place.
Yeah when i finally start mine im going to have to get sheet metal since i dont have a parts car to steal stuff from.
i love the blue and black you have i cant believe your making such a huge change in color. btw i have the same tires as you they are pretty nice never had a problem with them and they hold up nice to the burn outs

That they do....I have put about 8,000 miles on those tires plus a bunch of brakestandin, 2nd gear burnouts
About the color...I went back and forth a lot and I realy like the color I have right now, but I didn't want to drop a few grand into paint and have just a cleaned up version of what I already had. I want it to be like a new car, it has been 5 years with it, time for a change.
i have all the same rust as you only a lot worse im just getting through this winter then moving back home after i get out of school. when i get home im gunna buy a beater put the stang in the garage and its all coming apart. engine and trans are coming out all the suspension gunna get done new motor and sent out for body work and paint

If you are spending all that money and time getting the outside right you need to pull that motor and get the engine bay sprayed the same color and do the rest of the undersided areas as well. Nothing looks worse than skimping there...
like i said "we can all blame "the black guy" for our problems now
