Default ticking not from engine, or any noticeable place

eversence i got the car, when im driving i hear a ticking noise.

the easyest way i can discribe it, is that it sounds like a bike with a card in the tires.
i think its coming from one of the wheels, and ive looked at them with the car on the ground but cant see anything.
also dont have the tools to take things off right now, as i just got the car.

its not very loud, but with the windows down from about 40mph-0 its pretty bad but above that its fine

just wanted to know if anyone else has experenced this, and what it is.

thanks

Does it change with brake pedal pressure? I've heard pads with broken hardware make a similiar noise.

could be anything from a exhaust header gasket to brake hardware issues to a million other things....if you had a video of the noise it might help narrow down the possibilities

the mustang stock h pipes are known for cracking right above the second catalytic converter

you probably wont be able to tell unless you take the h pipe off

i dont really think you havethe stock h pipe, but just in case

i do have the stock h pipe (looks like it atleast, rusted to hell and back)

i just have a catback right now.....

the noise gets faster when speeding up, and slower when slowing down (duh) but just sounds like the wheels.............

idk, i need to get some jack stands so i can look under the beast

You sure there isn't a 1981 Oldsmobile with wire hubcaps following you around everywhere?

click-click-click-click...
