Default Painting Engine Bay (update w/ pics 56k beware)

Well, I pulled the motor out in preparation to smooth out and paint the engine bay. I'll try to post up some pics later today but theres not much to see at the moment. I had previously hid all the wiring except along the firewall. I am still debating wether or not to hide that too. WhenI think about it I want to but thenImight as well hide some of the vacuum lines, and everything else. I also dont want to get done and say I wish I hid those wires.

I also would like to hear some opinions on color. I know some poeple hate the black engine bays on a car thats not black, and others like it. I am leaning towards painting it semi-gloss black. It might be better that way ifI decide to change the color of the car next year. what do you guys think?

paint it white!
+1

I'm a big fan of body color engine bays. Lucky for me, my car is black.

I'am with primetime; Go White.
Hiding vacuum lines is even easier than hiding wires.

I am just afraid the white will stain really easy (kinda like it is now). if the car was blue or something i might agree with the body color thing. i drive this pretty often so its a pain to keep clean. by the way where did you hide all the crap behind the passenger side shock tower? can you email me some detailed pics of how you ran your vacuum lines and everything? Thanks for everyones opinion.

well i got a little more done today. I took out the dash, steering column, and pulled the wiring from the driverside inside the car to relocate in the inner fender area. i know how i want do do that side, but still thinking about the passenger side though. my a/c is still working and charged up so i dont want to disconnect it. do you guys think ill have enough room to work behind HVAC stuff if i just unbolt it and let it hang a little? I want my fuel injection harness to exit the firewall right above the transmission. i started to mock up the hydroboost just to see how it looked. i am trying to find a set of pedals from a newer mustang to make the swap a little easier. anyone know what year they start using the hydroboost? did they in 96? i cant remember.
