t tops are rare barly ever see one. i payed 3500 for mine in canada but it is in pretty decent shape. could do with a good rebuild on the engine though its a little dead but o well lol.

Congratulations on your find. I just found mine earlier this month in Canada, but my search only lasted about a year. After I rode in my buddies, I wanted a t-top with the 87 body style, found a few here and there but being a full time student couldnt afford it, but then I found her. I bought a 1987 Mustang GT Cobra T-Top and she needs a little paint and some TLC but I love her the way she is, I actually just posted it up on the forum yesterday.

Wow 3/11 was my last post been a while a LOT has changed in the last 5 months. First off pulled my motor and was going to rebuild it but changed my mind as this was just going to be a weekend cruiser and not much more. Any way came across a 93 5.0 out of a lx with 70 thousand miles on it so i scouped it up. The list of things done to her is rather long as i sit here and think about it i have put a lot of time into this and it is still not on the road anyway. if i listed everything i did this post would be off the chart so i will do a little at a time so here is the suspenison.When i had the motor out i put the tokico lowering springs in the front as they were not in when i bought it they were laying in the hatch so now it has a complete suspenison change done tokico springs on all for corners as well as tokico shocks on the back mac upper and lower control arms. and monroe struts on the front,new swaybar links, new rack and bushings rotors calipers and pads whole new front end. Rear end was messed up prev owner put 4:10 in it and didnt have a clue so changed them to 3:55. The welds are long gone they have been replaced by cobra r wheels by oe dis they r black stars with chrome pans 17x8 on the front with 245/40/17 and 17x9 with 275/40/17 on the rear will post a little more tommorow with some new pics.

Ok so i touched base a little yesterday heres a little more today. i will talk about the exhaust today changed the hedears to bbk shortie equa length replaced the h pipe with a mac 2 in a half off road x pipe 1 chamber flowmasters mufflers and 2 in a half mac tailpipes. i will put some pics up of us pulling the old motor and putting the new motor in soon.

hey guys quick update i got some weld in frame ties as well as a bbk strut tower brace to stiffen it up more pics comin soon.

Comin a long. Why did you replace the motor? As I don't recall seeing you say why it was in need of replacing? Are you painting the engine bay or hiding any wires with the motor out?
