Default 347 swap has begun*video*

Well I began tering everything apart over the past weekend. All my parts have come in minus the maf sensor, its on backorder, should be another week they said. And ofcourse, the motor has yet to arrive, should be here by the end of the week. Here's a description of what all I've got;

-Fordstrokers shortblock(347, forged pistons/rods)
-Canfield 195 aluminum heads
-Holley systemax intake
-Camshaft Innovations custom cam
-PP polished 70mm tb
-PMAS maf
-frpp 30# injectors
-Walbro 255 fuel pump
-frpp wire set
-Crane coil
-MSD cap & rotor
-BBK equal length shorties
-BBK hpipe(nocats)
-Flowmaster 40's dumped
-B&M tranny cooler
-Transgo shift kit(already got 20k miles on it)
-Edge racing custom converter(2800 stall)
-frpp aluminum driveshaft
-MAC l/u control arms
-MM subframes

Thats everything so far, the total as of now is right around 7k. I still have things to buy like plugs, new hoses, oil, etc etc. A question for all the tech guys is wether or not I will need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. It's getting dyno tuned so i'm not sure if one is required or not.

I'm only 2 days into the build and it wont be done for another prolly 2-3 weeks. I'll be sure to update this thread whenever I get my motor or make progress in the swap. Thanks for reading, comments always welcome.

Here's a few pics I've gathered so far...

The patient:

All the parts, minus the ones stated above:

Some parts out of the boxes:

And progress after 2 days, or about 4 hours of teardown.
Got everything drained, upper intake and tb etc taken off, some of the plugs labeled so i know how to put it all back together.
Next I'll take off the rest of the accessories and start taking apart the fuel system.

If anyone has any tips or things that would make this any easier let me know. I'm not stuborn!

mark everything, and put your bolts in little bags, marked with where they came from.

a buddy of mine has this little digital camra, that you take a picture, and connect the camra to a little printer and it prints out a picture right there.

he uses that with his lil baggies to show where everythign gos

yeah i've been taking pictures of every connector, both close pics and farther away. I put tape on every connector and label it #1 or #2 etc so i know which one goes to what. I'm also writing down what all the connectors go to so i know approximately where they go. And yes im also putting everything in bags labeled with what its for and any plugs that go to that specific part. I think i'm making it impossible for me to put it together wrong. and hell maybe im going a little over kill, but better be safe than sorry.

You will prolly need a FPR. Also, looking at those valve covers, you may need a spacer (hopefully you won't)... bad thing is I don't know if they make a spacer for the holley.

BBK makes a spacer for the holley but i hope i wont need it. I still have the stock hood and dont have enough money to get a cowl. The vc's i got are just stock height altho i did get the extra thick gaskets. hopefully thats enough and it tucks under the manifold.
