Default AWD Mustang?

I was thinking it would be cool to build an awd mustang. First you would need an awd system to swap into the fox. the only car I could come up with that had awd around the same time the fox was out was the 87 to 91 tempo/topaz. The tempo was avialile with a 2.3 but im not shure if its the same as the fox mainly I just was wondering if anyone knows if the bell housing bolt pattersare the same. I know the tempo has the engine mounted transversly so It would probably only be possible with the 2.3. Aso wondering if anyone knows if they make a tempo/topaz awd manual, and how strong the drivetrain is.

find me a rag top mustang with a body like a fox. I don't get why you are you shoot down an Idea like this there are already very fast 2.3 liter mustangs out there and no one tells them to go buy a 240. AWD is diffrent but not bad If you want to do more that drive down the quarter mile.People swap 302's for a 351W's all the time mabie they should have bought a camero.

wtf?

all im saying is that its way to easy to burn the clutches up in an awd system, sure the theory is good, and it works in some applications, but in drag racing it doesnt.

maybe you shoud go buy a camaro, and **** off.

It's ford's fault that we never got the glorious 5.8l Windsor block as a stock option (would have been badass). But an AWD mustang... thats just wrong!
