actually, there is no reason to use it on any carbed application as the gas running through the intake cleans everything out...every time you drive it. the benefit is for fuel injected vehicles where the intake is only used as an air plenum. when the car is shut off, the vapors from any fuel travel back up through the intake and solidify in the air plenum. due to not having fuels running through up there, there is nothing to clean it out..hence, the reason this works good on f/i engines. so, if your running a carb, or cfi engine..youll be wasting your time doing this procedure...for you f/i guys...carry on.
