Question Fog Lamp Bulb Replacement '89 GT 5.0

Hey, All,

I'm struggling with fog lamp bulb replacement. Can someone please give me some info? The owner's manual didn't come with the car.

I removed the lamp housing from the car, and opened up the cover. There's a little bulb inside that doesn't want to come out of the socket. I tried wiggling it out, but the wire in the back seemed to want to stay with the bulb.

There was a thread on this topic from early this year - it had two images that possibly showed how to do it, but as luck would have it, the images are no longer attached.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Have you tried to PM the person who posted those pics?

I no longer have mine (its been a while) but i think you just squeeze the ends of the wire clip and lift it out of the way and the bulb should pull right out. If it still wont come out its probably just stuck. I dont remember having to turn anything as with the headlight sockets but i could be wrong. And the bulb itself does have a wire on it, it is part of the bulb as is the round part on the bulb.

Foglight bulb replacement is not shown in my 93 owners manual so im guessing it wouldnt be in the 89 either.
