Your biggest problem will be cornering regardless of the weather. If you go too fast, they will just push through the turn. As long as you adjust for these things, you should be fine.

as long as you arnt road racing the car, and dooing realy hard turns they are fine, i DD'ed my mustang with 15x3.5 up front and 15x8 in the back. I got stuck in the rain a few times, and even with the mickey thompson i have my car still handled great in the rain.

My 88 GT has had skinnies on it since the day i got it...I drove it everyday up till the snow/salt came...wet or dry they were good. Unless you plan on road racing or taking really fast turns you will be fine....I'm even running mickeys up front that arent street legal and they do just fine on my DD.

i ran skinnies on my car for about a year while it was still my DD. it wasnt that bad. breaking distance increased but cornering wasnt that bad and it looks f*cking awsome
