Default Need a good car cover...

I dont want to spend over $100 but may if need be but still would like a nice durable cover. Would also like to get one with side mirror inserts and possibly an antenna hole. Thanks.

i have a wolf one, its pretty decent for the price i paid. i just got it from a local autoparts store(canadian tire). the one i have doesnt have mirror covers but it comes wigth a plastic ring so you put the antenna where ever you want it. personally i just took the 5 seconds and unscrewed the antenna.

It depends on what you need it for. If you need something that's weatherproof and breathable, you'll spend some big bux. But if you jsut need a dust cover, sew a couple of flannel sheets together.

I bought a Car Cover World weathershield cover for one of my cars. I doesn't get used a whole lot, because the car isn't parked outside a whole lot. But the fit is excellent, and it's a quality cover. It has protected the car well in some nasty weather. Pretty expensive, though. They do have cheaper covers that don't work as well.

The cheap covers you get at wally world are not much more than a dust cover. That's not a bad thing. If you need a dust cover, they're perfect. Just don't expect them to stand up to Hurricane Katrina.

Don't buy a car cover. They do not allow your paint to breath. These look pretty nice but the probably cost alot. http://www.carcapsule.com/

I just bought a breathable le bra one off ebay, $39 free shipping. I had one before but I didnt secure it down and the wind blew it off and froze it to the ground the quality of it tho was great for the price so I bought another. It doesn't have mirror inserts and I unscrewed the antenna.

The Wolf, from Noah is one of the best out there. We have had 2 of them. You can buy a fitted cover from Summit for about 150.00 This is one purchase you don't want to skimp on!!

If storing for some time I have found that a nice soft cloth covered by a tarp works well to keep the elements off the car and the sun from destroying the cloth cover straight away, well I am used to brutal SoCal sun shine... it decimates the cloth covers in a month if bright. I have never had a car with a good paint job so I dont know anything about keeping nice paint so dont know if cloth+tarp is a no-no for super shiny paint but if so nice then get a car tent or garage or rent storage as appropiate to the uber paint
