If I can remember, I'm going to try and weigh my car when I get home this next hitch.

What would you guess it weighs? Or what is your goal?

I'd like to see it weigh in somewhere around 3100-3200 with me in da car. I have removed alot of extra junk that I don't need, I have Aluminum heads and driveshaft. Fiberglass hood. No spare or jack. Skinny / Fat tire combo. One of my things to do is put a tubular K-member under the front, hoping to shave 75 or so pounds off with that, not to mention get better weight transfer. I am a big dude, 6' @ 285lbs, been a big dude all me life. Not so much big in the waist as much as in the shoulders. I must of ruined my dads playpen during birth, must of been da reason for him being such a hard a$$ towards me all my life.

'92 lx coupe, a/c and smog delete, no spare tire or jack, 3/4 of a tank and an air freshener = 3050 without me in it.

this is what i have for weight reduction to acheive the 2970 weight WITHOUT ME in it...

no front bumper support, no rear bumper support, no smog crap, no front sway bar, no rear sway bar, no quad shocks, no tail pipes (dumps), no spare tire, no jack, no trunk mat/carpet (stained REALLY bad so i trashed it)

nothing major...but it added up...2970 with 3/4 fuel....tonight it'll be between 1/4 and 1/2 of gas...i also have welds all the way around that will drop more weight...i didnt get to weigh it with race wheels...i wonder how much more weight it knocks off?

I'm heading to the track tonight...12's is the goal tonight!
