my 85's not a coupe but It weighed(with a full tank of gas) 2920 and with me in it it weighed 3160 no spare tire 3 lb. 4 in. cowl hood no smog,a/c or p/s and the carpet,top of the back seat gone but it had a 75 lb. set of speakers w/box

91 mustang 5.0 lx,306 shortblock,E-303 cam,ported and polished E7's,rebuilt stock T-5,bbk E/L shorty headers,with their 2 1/2" o/r H-pipes,70 mm maf,3G alt.,upr adj. upper c/a's 3:73 gears. race weight with driver:3260,only a 100 lbs. more than the 85

85 mustang: parts car for now

Best time 13.7@ 102 mph 2.074 60' on street tires(in the '85)
Best time 14.3@ 96 mph 2.13 60' on street tires(in the '91)

I can't wait to get mine weighed. I read it weighed around 2600-2700 from the factory but I seriously doubt that. But it does feel very light compared to any other fox I have driven. We will see in 2010 when I get back from playing in the sand .
