Default weight of coupes?

Anyone with a coupe in here...have you weighed it and if so what does it weigh? What has been removed to acheive that weight? How much fuel was in the tank and of course no driver?

I am curious. I will be getting mine weighed today and wanted to compare with others.

I have a 93. As driven, without driver it's at 3140lbs.

That's low on fuel, no spare tire, al driveshaft, 17" Cobra R rims, power seats from a S197, no options on the car except for AC.

The battery is relocated in the truck. Great weight transfer modification but on the whole it's probably a bit of a penalty on the scales.

That is a light coupe. There is a common misconception that coupes are so much lighter ( in your case its true) than the other two models but if you look up the weights of all 3 there is not much difference. My last car was a 89 hatch with FULL interior and a bigger block, no k-member and not diet what so ever. It weight 3115 w/o me in it. I did have a 8 gal fuel cell but other than that there was no weight removed. Along with the bigger block i also had a tko 600 that is few pounds heavier than a t-5

i always thought that coupes were about 3100 lbs cause of what the title says...may be true...i have some weight reduction which could be the difference

Hope this is not a stupid question.
A coupe is a notch right? Or is it hatches and notches?
