$1,300 for a new top. Ouchie. It leaks and soaks the passenger seat. The seams right above the quarter panels are torn too. 20 year old vynal or however the hell you spell it. Haha. It has shrunk quite a bit as well..tweaking the roof frame.... hmmmm

The tear...one on the other side too

Drivers side attachpoint for the roof. Quite a big gap. Can I just turn that hooky thing and have it tighten up that way and close up the gap?

No headliner...

Shrinkage above the drivers door

That "hooky thing " is called J hook and yes you can tighten those to close the gap but change that conv top first along with plastic bushing from 50 resto web site.

lol, dont think ive ever seen a headliner in a 'vert 5.0.

Your top is REAL bad..... I'd be working on that first before anything.

That 50 resto site is awesome! However...I can't find that piece I need for my vert...the plastic bushing where that J hook clamps down...*keeps searching*

AH HA! Just found em. Thanks!

Congrats on the vert. Be careful with that back window, it likes to shatter whenever it feels like it. (Mine did). Check the sponsors links that are on this site. American muscle in particular, they have a good assortment of swap kits. So does late model restoration.

Rims, well, everyone and their mother seems to have cobra rims. I prefer the good ole fashioned ponies, you can get a set real cheap and paint them whatever color. I'm very happy with the white ones I painted.
