Was out today for a drive and started hearing a ticking sound under the hood. After a while of driving around the noise got even louder. Weened it home and popped the hood while engine was still running and it sounds like the ticking sound is coming from the head. Is this a bad lifter? Is there any way I can tell without pulling the valve cover? Could sure use some help here.
