Default storage unit

i dont have any room for working on my engine wondering if i rented a storage unit if i could work on it in there.is there anyone that is renting a storage unit and knows what the rules are?

lol my friend did this once, well actually he painted hes car in one, he just went in at night when everyone left for the evening. im sure your not suppose to but if your quite and keep it nice and dont spill anything all over the floor im sure you can get away with it

I've been thinking about the same thing lately, like he said if you aren't disturbing and take care of it I don't see any problems.

The only rule that i know of is your not supposed to store flammable chemicals, but as long as you are keeping them sealed properly, I wouldn't think that would be an issue

You aren't supposed to store flammables in them? Lol I have a couple gallons of nitromethane in mine. I think it'd be fine, but what are you gonna do about power? Or heat for that fact too, it's pretty cold around here right now.

i know you can't run a business out of them. So if your gonna build peoples engines then technically that would be illegal, but if its your own i don't think they'd mine.
