Default MUFFLER CHOICE

I have a 1986 gt with an off road h-pipe on it now, my only problem is the muffler choice, the car is completely stock and I am looking for a really agressive deep tone and hearing it in the car would be prefered. I don't know whos the best flowmaster? dynomax? magnaflow? bola? cherry bomb? what would sound the best on this particular vehicle? thanks for the input!

You can never go wrong with Flowmasters. This might help aid you in your decision.

Best bet is to listen to sound clips and decide what you like the best. With an offroad H pipe everything is going to be loud, and don't worry bout not hearing it in the car...

Not getting on it,

I'll tell ya, I went cruising after work for about 2 hours, and when I did get on it, oh my god, the sound it made when I when I went by cars in the other lane was indescribable. Super loud yet really deep and muscular sounding, hard to explain, it just makes you want to yell, awesome sound imo.

Plus, everyone has flows, do something different.

Nope, it's the sound I like, unlike slps and a lot of magnaflows, it doesn't get all retarded and poppy/raspy upon deceleration. I love it, find the right rpm range, and all you hear is a purr, but at the same time, another range will moderate. or loud, I think it's perfect.

bbk l/ts to bbk o/r H to flowtech flowtubes w/the bullets to flowmaster tails,
