he should win.
you need more mod's.
buy some bolt-on's there cheap as hell.
1993 73mm cobra MAF off ebay $60
70mm throttlebody and EGR around $200
full exhaust $400 if you can buy used, gonna spend $700 new
mark VII electric fan $200 (including DCC controler)
etc.

my 92 has a f-cam , stock ported heads and 3.73 gears and a performer intake and carb set up and my friend and I were even with me pulling ever so slightly, at the track I'd win no problem due to launch with slicks..13.70's to his 14.1 to 14.2's

if youre still running stock heads, thatll be your biggest downfall against a 350Z. personally, i think theyre overrated. i used to work for Nissan, ive driven them. ive seen what they can(cant) do. if youve got aluminum heads, i can definitely see you beating it with no problem if its stock. even if gots exhaust you probably have a chance. HOWEVER, if youre running stock heads and arent getting the maximum airflow that engine needs, you have no chance against one. good luck. let us know how it goes.
