Hello there. My name is Jon Martin, I just bought a 1991 mustang 5.0 with a vortec supercharger. I'll have the car in my hands within 2 weeks, hopefully sooner.

Could someone help me out and estimate the numbers on a setup running:

5.0l (302) motor
P&P GT40 heads
e303 cam
cobra efi intake mani
30# injectors
70mm TB
vortec supercharger - not sure which trim or how much boost- probably 10-15psi

I know it has a custom tune and what not. The car is cherry inside and out, really, a dream vehicle for me. I come from the world of VW/Audi vehicles, primarily, though I'm into v8's and stangs through my cousin (900hp lightning) and my roomate, a big mustang gt buff.

go to the track... HP numbers are just that.... a number

P&P GT40 heads - 25 rwhp
e303 cam - 15 rwhp
cobra efi intake mani - 20 rwhp
30# injectors - 0 rwhp
70mm TB - 5 rwhp
vortec supercharger - 100 rwhp @ 10 psi

Total: approx 340 rwhp

that should be a fun little toy as far as hp, i would say around 400, i doubt it's pushing 10-15psi due to the fact that it has 30# injectors. those are a little small for a supercharged 302. and the factory block will turn into two 4 cylinders if you boost it too much

That seems like an awful low number for a car that will run low 9s stock

I'm guessing your talking 1/8 mile numbers there. LOL

Maybe the seller is wrong on the injectors? Who knows. Its doing 8psi on a Vortec V-1 t trim supercharger.

I'll post pics in the next few days. Hopefully 400whp+ and I'd be happy. Who knows....
