Default finaly got it tuned... a little disapointed tho

Ok so got back from the dyno yesterday (to tiered to post it up tho), Problems with the car is i never put the right amount of pre load on the roller rockers so i had valve float past 5400rpm i believe it was, then rick anderson told me the e303 cam that is in the block really hurt my power production, and i would have been better off with the stock one over all tho the car drives A LOT smoother, and feels stronger to bout 5200 (max hp, and thats were the valve float starts to kick in.

took the car to andersonfordmotorsports in clinton IL, drove the car there which was 2.5 hours down to ISU were i have an apartment for school, and then the next day we drove the remaining 45min to the dealer ship. 4.30 gears+5speed= really really loud car! haha

so you have a bolt on novi 2000 on stock intake and heads and you only made 259hp @ 5200rpms? thats disapointing as hell....doesnt even sound right.

ya, it was on a mustang dyno tho..... he said if i wouldnt of encountered the valve float and been able to pull up to 6000, it would have been really close to 300 if not more.

Supposed to take it to the track in a couple of weeks so that will tell the real story about the car (and its driver )
not sure if it will work but here's a vid of the final pull

no never with out the novi, i can understand why its down on power, it was only making 7.5psi at the max rpm, mustang dyno's read lower hp/trq numbers, the cam hurt the power production, and the pre load on the rr's was bad=valve float

ya it was on 39, cant remember were tho

Swap that pulley out for 20psi and then you might break 350 rwhp.
