I'm well aware performance and safety are two different issues, i'd rather be safe than in a little zippy car and dead when the front wheel drive plows off the track and you hit the wall.

And why are you on here to talk bad about my car? Go take your foreign fwd crap elsewhere, it's not wanted among real car guys.

you want to talk about tracks? your car can go fast (possiby) in a straight line. if half the guys cars on here had to make one turn on a track, not a drag strip, they would be the ones flying off the road my friend. "zippy" is right and zippy is fast.

No the exhaust is the only thing zippy about it which is what I implied. I've driven an 06 Civic my older brother has one and even though it handles pretty well for a FWD car it wasn't impressive considering all the suspension components are brand new so it should handle well. If I replaced all my suspension parts with new original parts i'd put money on my Mustang beating your Civic around a road course track. I would even say mine could keep up with yours with it's 21 year old suspension parts, let's see how good yours does in 19 years on it's original parts if it somehow manages to last that long.

I didn't see a tag on the rear end, probably isn't there anymore but I can hit 60 in 2nd so it must have the 2.73's, and even though I hate how high they are it's still really fast compared to my trucks so i'm satisfied for now. It'll probably get 3.73's when I decide to upgrade to GT40 parts and a new cam when I rebuild the motor.
