I hope this is in the correct section, if not please move.
I have a 93 Mustang GT 5spd. with after market ( I can not find the name) , upper & lower rear control arms.
The bushings need replaced .
How do I get new control arm bushings since I can not find the name of my control arms?
The control arms are red and almost square.
If I can find one of the bushings that is still in good condition, can I take it to a parts store and have them match it?
Should I take the whole control arm to the parts store to see if they have bushings to fit?
Thanks for any help/advice/information or ideas you may have.
I put these control arms on somewhere around the middle to late 1990's , keep my records but can not find any records for the control arms.

If you post some pictures of the control arms, someone on here might be able to help you identify them. I doubt most parts places will have much luck finding the correct ones without a lot of trial and error.

Take the control arm off and take it to a parts store that carries the bushings. Most of them carry the urethane aftermarket sets, I bet they would fit.

Dr Howard, I am sorry but I am not capable of posting photos.

Mr Dawson, that is my plan . I was hoping for some way to get the bushings with out removing the control arms.
I can not find my records for the control arms and I keep a record/service folder since 1994 when I purchased the Mustang.
I thought there MIGHT be a model number or name stamped on them but have not found it as of yet.
These control arms are red and 2 flat sides approx. 4" and top & bottom approx. 3" , laying under it , looking at them it seems as if I can ALMOST recall who I ordered them from, but as of now I have not recalled .

For 93, Red control arm bushings are usually BMR, BBK, or Steeda brand control arms. Go to American Muscle see if you can identify which brand you have based on the pictures.

Thanks for all the good information/comments.
I ordered a set off ebay but they are the wrong size.
My local Auto Zone could not order them. I took the control arm in and one of the good bushings and they still could not match them.
Does any one know of a site or business where I can take in or measure my control arm or measure one of the used bushings and they can match it?

i googled square tubular control arms and found many pics of square tubular arms for a mustang. maybe call those companies

Mr TrimDrip, thank you sir for taking your time to help/advise me on the bushings.
I ordered a set of bushings , they did not fit.
I sent them back last Monday , have not received my money back as of now.
I went on Ebay and ordered a set of tubular , rear upper & lower control arms with bushings and bolts/hardware.
Waiting on them to come.
I like my nearly square control arms better , but I just have not found the correct bushings.
