you know I actually have a buddy that has a 91 or 92 gt with a t-5. I think it was stock bore then but he had his E7's ported to he** and back and a cobra intake port matched with 373's that went 12.40's and I think it was full weight.He still has the stock t-5 in it powershifting the a shat out of it with a 310 short block gt-40s again ported to he** and back,stock cam, and same intake,alluminum flywheel and I believe his best run has been an 11.20

Best time 13.7@ 102 mph 2.074 60' on street tires(in the '85)
Best time 14.3@ 96 mph 2.13 60' on street tires(in the '91)

so now you're waiting on a driveshaft or a rebuild of the engine?

basically just need a driveshaft, and everything pretty much for the t5. i also got the bellhousing
