Default I got stopped !!!

Like the title says I got stoped on my way home from the sacramento raceway and got a ticket for NO CATS/LOUD MUFFLERS. I had my H pipe in now I have to take it in to a referee to get it singed off. My question is what is the DB limit at how many feet ? and also if I put my stock 4 cat pipes back on will it be quite enough with the flowmaster american thunder cat back to pass said limit ?

Depends on the size of your exhaust system. If its 2.5 and you put the cats back on, you should pass.

american thunder muffler's are QUIET, i dunno how you got pulled over. I use to have thouse mufflers with offroad H pipe and they where super quiet compared to my MACS i have now....

the stock cat's will quiet it down alot, but im just surprized you got stopped with that catback.... (then again it is Ca)

maybe it was just a slow day for them. ive never been pulled over for my exhaust which is amazing considering there isnt much exhaust on my car at all. no cats, straight through muffler and the exhaust dumps at the back of the tranny.

put some stock cats on, thatll quiet it up a lot

That sucks man. The one good thing about my city is that they dont care about sound violations. I drove my truck open headers for a couple months and never got pulled over.
