Default TPS question

OK, forgot some basic knowledge. Which wire on the TPS do you check voltage on to tweak it and what is the optimal voltage? Had a 63 code (low TPS voltage) so I replaced the sensor...now I get code 23 (TPS voltage outside test specifications). Funny thing, the car ran fine for about seven hours after switching sensors...then went back to a low idle and choking at traffic lights. Help...I've already pissed off a Viper and two Corvettes that thought I was popping the gas at 'em...lol!

its not very hard to just probe the sensor and figure it out on your own

Thx for the info Joel. It doesn't stall now. Still have a slight rolling idle, but my new 75mm TB doesn't have an I/A bypass plate like my 70mm did. That should fix that. WTF happened with those things anyway...they were 12 bucks back when I bought my first 5.0. Now they're $35 and you're lucky if the dealership knows what you're talking about.
