I bested 130-135 in mine... the top sounded like it was going to rip off, the windows were rattling, and the speedo was shaking around that speed... the ride... she was floaty... it was both awesome and terrifying...
never again, not until I have a chance to put half decent brakes, suspension and engine parts on it...
hell the last time my 5.0 saw 100 even was a long time ago

When I was researching my SSP, I floated around the CHP forum and asked questions. Several officers told stories about driving the Mustangs while in-service, and the top speed reported was 149mph (don't know what year SSP). Their biggest complaint was the inadequate brakes, which also made for the best stories.

back in the day my buddies 93 coup with bolt ons was a little over the 260 kmh mark,i clocked him with my r1.my speedo was digital and it's tough to keep your head straight but it was over 260 on my speedo
iirc 80 is about 2200-2400 with t5 and 2.73 3k rpm is probably about 90
