So i was driving home tonight, just creepin down the road minding my business and this S2000 with his top down and a hotass girl in the passenger seat comes up next to me. Guy kept hittin the gas, and slowing down.... but i didnt pay any attention. We get to a stop light, and the guy revved his engine a bit (i took notice of the BOV i heard) and asked if i wanted to race. "nah man, not interested", i said... i didnt really wanna race because i just put this engine together 1000 miles ago, still havnt changed the oil, and havnt really gotten on it so i was nervous about what it would do. he revs up again and says "It's turbod, ill win", and his girl starts laughing. Well the green light dropped and i continued on in a civilized manner. Well, we rolled about 10 feet and he gunned it, giving him the early advantage. ****it... Cant let this ricer show me in front of his girl. I cracked it wide open and DUMPED the clutch in first, caught up to him in a hurry, stayed right next to him for the rest of first, (man my car screams) even though the tires were in a blaze. He started to pull MAYBE a bumper as his turbo spooled and i struggled for traction... but then I Grabbed second, car kicked sideways a bit, got it straight and caught traction. SEE YA. immediately jumped a car on him just from the 1-2 shift. got to the top of second and his headlights were only getting smaller.... This was all i needed to see, so i slowed it down and he flew by. We got to the next stoplight, his girl yelled "HOLY **** THAT THING WAS LOUD RIGHT IN MY EAR!". He just stared at me not looking too happy... I hung a right at the light and drove off in the slow cruising manner i was before this whole thing happened.
All this on a little H/C/I 302 still on 10 degrees timing. GOD i cant wait to put the vortech on .

Not bad, a Turbo S2000 should be pretty quick if it's set up right. What setup are you running right now?

Who cares how much horsepower it has, all that matters is how fast it goes!
13.20's with 2.25-2.30 60's, 40+ year old suspension sucks!
Best trap 107.11mph, we'll see what the new intake/carb setup does.
12.80 at 110.5mph NHRA DA corrected

95 cobra with an '89 shortblock and a whole lotta blood sweat n grease. (reringed, rehoned, new bearings stock crank turned). Edelbrock performer RPM heads (1.9's) with ferrea valves, comp xe276hr with matching springs (man this cam thumps), scorpion 1.6 rrs (although i wanna switch to 1.7s), hardened pushrods, cobra intake manifold with spacer (Want a new manifold, or this one ported. Undecided), 1 5/8 BBK LTs/BBK Xpipe/MAC mufflers, Kirban AFPR, some ****ty made in taiwan balancer (need an ATI or fluidampr), some unknown ****ty clutch (will get switched with the RAM clutch i have when i stop being lazy and put my viper spec t56 in), 70mm PP TB, unknown aftermarket MAF, CAI, MSD dist/coil, unknown rear gears (id guess 3:73, maybe 3:55). All still on 10 degrees advance.

I want dyno numbers before you supercharge it.
I've tried to talk several people into using that cam, and everyone seems to be pussyfooting around it. I used to have a XE276HR in my 347.

You WONT go wrong with this cam. I love it, its badass. You know your **** adder, and this is no exception. quick question of you though, do you think i would gain anything changing the 1.6rr to 1.7s (since those ARE what the cam is designed to use)?
like i said "we can all blame "the black guy" for our problems now
