Default 1988 Mustang GT- Ebay Ad

i need a little help on this one. i sold my '88 five years ago and haven't really kept in touch with the value of these older stangs and nada and kelley blue book don't give values on cars this old. i'm curious if someone can do a carfax on this vehicle for me. the history page on ebay definitely gives me a red flag and the seller acts like it's no big deal. i also think it may be way overpriced with the mileage and history, but like i said it's been a while since i paid attention to what these go for. i've been looking for a while for a '88 t-top and i appreciate any help and input.

Vin: 1FABP42E2JF164214
Miles: 94,269 (assuming 194,269 from the history report)

if anyone could please take a look at this ad on ebay and tell me if i'm just paranoid or if i have reason to be concerned buying this car and also what this car would really be worth right now in it's current condition.

thanks a ton guys,
caleb

Looks like a clean car. But i wouldn't have my heart set on it. You should be able to get that car a little cheaper than $4500. I am always weary of a fox with a "big cam", gears, no a/c, and a carbeurator. Also that rust spot around the passenger side mirror kinda jumps out at me.

yeah the rust is right where the trim is missing which tells me the whole door skin is probably shot. sorry about no link....i don't post in forums often and don't know how to post one. did you happen to look at the history tab? the odometer readings really jump out at me. according to the readings 78,000 miles were put on the car from 2/06-7/09. and it was listed at auction just a month ago with 125,000 miles. don't know too many people that can put that many miles on a 5.0l mustang especially with gas prices. plus it has been to dealer auction twice in its lifetime....which is a little odd for a 'rare' car.
