Are my uppers hurting me?

Are my uppers hurting me?
Im having trouble getting my LX to really leave like it should. I listed the suspension mods and the car is mostly full weight with small things like no AC, heat, smog, aluminum heads and radiator, Draglites, fuel cell, no radio, sway bars, etc.
C4 with a 3000 stall and reverse manual VB
Over the winter I installed the following parts:
Eibach Drag Launch Springs
Lakewood 90/10 struts
Lakewood 50/50 shocks
Ford Racing uppers (stock with firmer bushings)
Lakewood "Traction Action" lift bars
Battery, fuel cell, and bottle are in the trunk. Running MT ET Streets (tube-type)
On just a 100 shot, the car doesnt really hook too hard, and spins through most of first. I havent had it to the track with the giggle gas yet but on motor, it would cut 1.8x ish 60ft, which I think is kinda slow for what it is. I know it'll be hard to analyze without a video of the launch, but do you guys see any parts that need changed? Different uppers maybe? Any tips? The car feels like it transfers weight fair but just doesnt work like it should. I have no way to set the pinion angle with the control arms I have right? Thanks

Also, on motor it doesnt really spin at all, the converter is just too tight and the car feels out of its power zone. It flashes much higher on the spray and traction was limited. This wasnt on a prepped track though, but I dont know how much it would have helped. Thanks

i would say your lowers are the ones hurting you
hpm mega bite jr's are the best IMO , also you can dump some more air from the tires, run 10-12 lbs
het them up really good and you can get 1.6's

Those are the lowers I have. The uppers are from Ford Racing, but are basically a stock upper with firm bushings. Thanks for the help everyone, I appreciate it.

ok those lowers are good
i expected them to be like southsides
prob tire heat and pressure, and how hard you actually launch.... 3000 is good but if you actually get 3000 is another story
stall speed is affected by weight of the car and HP, mustangs are light so you lose stall rpm, less than 300 hp will flash lower too
so for instance... a stock lx 5.0 w/ a 3k converter might flash @ 2500

no, not at all
get some proforms if you think you really need to, but i am running uppers for the first time ever, and my '89 even w/ southsides could knock down 1.6's w/ stock uppers and et street bias ply tires
