Question  is this 306 a deal or no deal

i found a 306 engine with trick flow bottom end, bored .30 over xxx mexican block, 10.5 to 1 compression, polished crank no heads, custom ground cam with .576 lift for low boost has dyno sheets that said it made 300 on motor 450 with supercharger(twisted wedge heads) block was machined and hot tanked magnafluxed and fully prepped

i know i will blow somthing in my stock 5.0 when i install a 11 psi superchargerand intake, powerpipe, the stock one has 98k miles but not that long ago it had new gaskets installed

he wants $1100 for the 306 is that a good deal even though i would have to spend money on good high performance heads

You say it's 10.5 to 1 compression yet it's made for boost? Something isn't right there. Dyno sheets prove nothing when u are buying just a motor from an individual.

yes it is.. Most people build a motor with a compression of about 8.5 -9.0 to 1 for boosted applications. 10.5 compression is usually an all motor set up.
