92+ had the mini starter, autozone lists the starter at 124.99 add in a few bones for the wiring and you could have saved a chunk of change... Not trying to be a dick just trying to save you all some money. Far as the wiring all you do is move the power wire on the solonoid then make a trigger wire for the starter..

I pulled the plugs to install the headers and they indicated that this engine was in worse condition than I thought.

I pulled the heads off and here is what was awaiting me. The one set of valves that is different than the others is the same cylinder as the crappy plug. The other valves which are all white match their plugs as well.

The messed up cylinder is on the passenger side closest to the front of the car.

The pistons weren't in any better condition, which is why instead of just the heads, the block is getting replaced, too.

Yeah that's the plan but not yet. I'm just getting it back on the road with a stock longblock w/ b cam that was in block.

It'll be interesting to see what it makes after its broken in and goes to the dyno. I'm not expecting anything special out of a stock block, though.

Well, here's right before the motor came out, it's surprising to see how much room is actually in that engine bay.

Heres a shot without the engine in. I see that there will be a hefty amount of degreasing and painting. I can't stand by and let it stay dirty. At least I don't have to clean the K-member... It's getting a new one!
