Not really :\ Unless you want to remove the heater box all-together, though you'd lose heat and your blower motor. You'd save probably in the area of 25-30lbs by doing that

Ive been meaning to do this. just hate the idea of removing it, then having to put it back on if i ever sell it.

could be "fun" though.


How much weight is lost? id imagine 30-40lb just from the stuff in the engine bay?

It's about 40lbs, when I removed A/C and P/S I weighed the components to see how much I dropped, between the two I dropped 85lbs

moving the battery to the trunk and removing the A/C is one of my next project's with this thing.

did you take out yours?

Ive already got the gauge cluster out, is it hard to get the rest of the front dash out?
