Default Stock pushrod length

What is it?.....Is it 6.25? I need about .100 longer, what size is that 6.35?....Thanks

yes, stock is 6.250".

make sure you not only measure the pushrod length, but look at the rollers tip sweep on the valve tip. it needs to be centered otherwise you will snap rocker studs. if push comes to shove, shorter is better than longer if you for some reason cant get the right length. also, you need hardened pushrods for guideplates (if you have stud rockers).

Comp Magnums, they sell them in various sizes.

Heres an update...ive got AFR 165s....1.6 r.r's..and hardened stock pushrods.....after some checking AFR says to get .100 over stock...obviously i know i need hardened...i took off rocker today and saw the rocker wearing above center on the spring.....ill get an adj.pushrod to verify...Thanks

jamie, i may need some since i dont have hardneded. i dont know if the 66 heads will allow me stock length or not because the i know the deck deff isnt as high as your alluminum heads. so they may or may not work.
