headlight/domelight chime drives me nuts
I like the chime as a reminder that I forgot to turn off my headlights, but it drives me bonkers if I'm trying to fix something with the door open or dome light on and it chimes away. Is the chime connected to the door or to the domelight? How can I keep it working for my headlamps but disconnect it from my door/domelight?

That's funny how we all have our different tolerance levels and things that we find annoying.
The chime drives you nuts but I actually added one to our 1965 Belvedere. It came from the factory without any headlight on warning. I found an aftermarket buzzer. It actually is very annoying but I chose it over something I find even more annoying and that's a dead battery from leaving the headlights on.

I unplugged the chimer, but am concerned about accidently draining the battery. That chimer is louder than any I've heard. Maybe I can find an aftermarket that's a bit different or figure out which wire goes to the door and disconnect it.
