My end goal is 275-300 horse..

It'll never run worth sh1t at the track because it's a convertible, so I don't intend to try.

FWIW, I can spend more than $5,000 total if it comes down to it (I took out a loan for $10,000 to buy the fictitious '66 GT350), but I don't plan on dumping $10,000 into my '94, because that would be retarded IMO. I'd definitely like to stay under $6,000..

Ok, so here's my list at this point:

- Paint (thinking about going after a pearl white)
- GT40P heads and GT40 intakes from a Mountaineer
- GT40P-specific headers (MAC or BBK, probably, depending on what my budget allows)
- Ford Racing 3.73 gears
- Underdrive pulleys
- New midpipe (haven't chosen one yet)
- Comp Cams xe276hr
- Full suspension (shocks, struts, springs, CNC plates, subframe connectors)
- 190lph fuel pump
- Elbow for intake

What a waste of $$$. LOL! Looks like you've got everything planned out great. Should be a fun cruiser when all is said and done!

lmao..

I wasn't totally sold on the Bullitt pedals, but when I realized it was going to cost just about as much just to get stock replacement pads, I said FI.

Hmm. I think gears may be next..

gears are a huge improvement.
if you've got all this money now then I'd buy most of the stuff now. like the exhaust, pulleys, gears, suspension, pump. all that, and install that cause it'll make the car way more fun to drive.

I'd also suggest some new rockers and your going to most likely need different length pushrods. luckily you can find used rockers for around 150 and pushrods are cheap prolly around 60 bucks for a good set new. thats to get the most out of the cam. Also when you get the heads checked and cleaned your gonna need some better springs put in them for the cam.

I'd say you'll have around 600 into the heads/intake after machine shop costs, another prolly 450 into the cam and valvetrain. 350 for the exhaust, 150 for the pump and pulleys, then the suspension and gears is gonna be expensive, especially if a shop is gonna have to put the gears in.

either way if you do all the things your saying it'll make it a very fun car. with 12's in the quarter possible if you got some slicks.

:/ My friend thinks I should just find an axle already with 3.73s in it. I guess I didn't realize it was that expensive to have gears installed..

If/when I go for gears, should I stick with my limited slip or upgrade to posi? Is it worth the money?
