Default Is this a nice exhaust setup??

Hey guys,

I recieved my BBK equal length ceramic coated headers and a BBK H-pipe with high flow cats from summit this morning.I havent found alot of information and was curious if I Should I expect a noticeable difference in sound and performance, or if I just wasted 700 bucks.. I have heard mixed reviews on the bbk headers and was told I should have gotten the X-pipe instead. My car has a flowmaster force 2 catback right now also. Let me know what you guys think about that exhaust setup or what you went with. Should I expect 15-20 HP?

It will sound good with the flowmasters. I have their headers and midpipe on my car. It all fit well. But the H-pipe does hang a bit low and it will take some time to wrestle it on there. Expect about 10-15 horsepower MAX

I have a bbk x pipe, and the difference between the two is not noticable, it's personal preference to sound

The X-pipe that Bassanni and BBK make, to me is not a real X-pipe. It's like a cross between an H- and an X and will sound real raspy with flows. Ran it on my car for about 6 months and hated it. Now a traditional X-pipe like Magnaflow will sound good with the flows . You will love the sound with the H-pipe. My favorite by far. Although my Magnaflow X with headers and the stock catback sounds nice too. Like mjr said, it's all a personal preference.

I have a catted bassoni x pipe with SLP loudmouth II and it sounds pretty sweet... TO ME. But if I would do it again I'd stay with the bassani x and get a deeper muffler... flowmaster or something like that. The x gives it a ... Exotic Sound??? .... it's cool.... at some point you just gotta buy something... took me like 2 months of searching to finally just buy my setup! lol GOOD LUCK

I LOVE the exhaust note of my MAC LT's, MAC Prochamber and SLP Powerflo's. I really need to get another exhaust vid posted up
