Best trap 107.11mph, we'll see what the new intake/carb setup does.

base can vary, expecially with performance cams, where ever drivibility and idle quality are the best. and as for having total in at 3500, that's not in stone either, for my set up total was recommended all in by 2300, so advance rate can vary based on your combo, you have to be the one to feel it out and see where it is most responsive, then again your working with a 302 set up and me a 347, generally if you have only idle air bleeds on the primaries your task is alot easier to balance idle quality then a 4 corner set up is, with just two start with them 1.5 turns out from the lightly seated/closed position, don't wrench them down...lightly until they stop then back out 1.5 turn, from there turn both with car idling maybe 1/8 turn out or in and see if idle quality improves, if it does you'll know your going the right way.....but heck a vac gauge is cheap..good luck

Some distributors will not allow for the total and idle timing settings. Let's call it spread.

If you are aiming for 14 initial and 34 total. Lucky if you dist has a 20 spread. If not you will have one of your settings too high or too low.

Easiest solution, since it's not my money. Is to buy an aftermarket dist with adjustable spread. Or modify the advance mechanism.
