Talking My new 1992 Mustang GT!!!!

Hey guys!

Well I am not exactly new around here, but I am new to the whole fox body Mustang scene (sorry if this is in the wrong section). I picked her up at the end of July and have been so busy that I had no time for pictures until today I took a few. She is a great project so far and will be in the future. I know she is far from perfect, but I am in the process of building her back up.

What I know about the car: it was originally a Kentucky car (so there is little to no rust). It has a rebuilt motor and trans (so there is about 9-10k miles on both) it has an a/c delete on it. The previous owner gave me all receipts on such aftermarket parts like: cold air intake, shorty headers, BBK x pipe, flowmaster's, hurts short throw shifter, FRPP suspension, etc. Oh and its not a stock paint color. It use to be red, but now its like an orange-ish color (faded tho).

What I have done so far: brand new 245/45r17 tires all around, new inner tie rods/bearings, new front sway links, got an alignment, put on newer/cleaner GT "cheese-grater" tail lights, fixed up seat belts, and put in new flasher and fuses

Here are some pictures and a video or two (not the greatest quality, took it fast) check it out! Cant wait to get some more money to work on her! haha

Looks real nice and clean. But, what's up with the "Boost" gauge. Was the previous owner trying to watch his vacuum? Or just trying to be cool? Also, which car is faster, the 4.0 or the 5.0?

Thanks man, the boost gauge was gonna be used because he wanted to turn it into a drag car, but found out how $$ expensive it was. The car was never supercharged and the two gauges were never even hooked up yet lol

Here is that video I meant to post up! Again the quality isn't there, but its an idea.

The 5.0 is def. faster man. There are just so many more power adders on the fox too so its hard to compare just stock to stock. Still, the fox beats out the 4.0. If I was able to do full bolt ons with the 4.0 it would be closer for sure. I would guess I am putting at least 300 rwhp down on the fox.

Since you're not new, you should know this is not the right section for this type of post!!

you're at 215whp, MAX. those mods do almost nothing for HP increase. its the suspension you got on there that makes it feel fast.

nice car tho.

Are you guys serious?! You forgot that the CAI adds 50 horsepower, mufflers adds another 60, x pipe adds 40, headers add 60 and the hurst shifters puts out an extra 20hp. So if my math is correct, he's pumping out 455 horsepower

ok i get it guys, sorry that im not an obvious know it all..........like most of you seem to be. but with the cold air intake, shorty headers, BBK x pipe, flowmaster's, a/c delete, new roller cam, new wiseco pistons and rings, 3.73 gear w/ posi trac, rebuilt motor and trans, 75lb fuel injectors, msd electrical coil wires distributor, etc..............wouldn't you think its more than 215 rwhp? again im not being cocky at all, i have no clue exactly what all that will add up to, what do you think it would be?
