Default INSTALLING A TRICK FLOW INTAKE

my aluminum trick flow intake is leaking a little antifreeze at the fan end on driver side ( above/behind distributer) . i used the rv gasket sealer in the tube to go across each end when i put it on about 3 years ago (did NOT use the 2 rubber gasket ends that came with gasket set). this time should i use the 2 end gaskets that comes with the gasket kit or should i use the rv gasket sealer that come in a tube? let me know some experiences some of you have had in this. thanks.

You should always throw the 2 strips away and use rtv.

Put the cork on. Watch cork mess up, take cork off. Never use cork again. Savvy?

Same idea. Did you use any rtv at the corners where the heads, block and intake come together?

hey Crazyhorse,
I am doing mine and I put the gasket plus some black RTV also I used the ruber gasket on the front & back and I put the RTV on the corners, first time I forgot to put the rtv so I have to take it apart again just to make sure it will not leak, I haven't start my car yet on the weekend I will let you know if it will leak or not but I will recomend to use the rubber gasket plus the rtv in the back and the pump gasket plus the rtv wouldn't hurt, it is better to make sure.

Felpro gasket the runners, and RTV both ends. No cork on the ends. If you cork the ends and boost it'll leak.

like everybody else said throw the ruber ones away jus use ultra black rtv. but the valley would leak oil not coolant the gasket on the head itself is what would leak coolant.

thanks for all the replies. it has the fel pro gaskets now & i am going back with fel pro gaskets. a local speed shop that builds engines for many years ( some well over $26,000) says do not use end gaskets, use rtv. i keep trying to reason why a large gasket company like fel pro would continue to make end gaskets when they could just include a tube of rtv ,hhhhhhmmmmm. oh well. so i thought i would get some input to see what others are doing. thanks again for all the good information. good luck to all & may your mustangs be fast.
