Default gt40p headers

Ive been outta the mustang loop for awhile.......Now i know they gt40p heads take special headers.....Ive also heard you can make them work with other types of headers that are non gt40p headers....is this true? Also where can i find some fairly cheap gt40p headers all im finding is this 4-500$ crap and i dont have the money for that BS......I did some seachin on here all i could really find is gt40 VS stuff.

I put a set of Ford Racing ones on a customer of mine. they fit great and are easy to work around could not ask for better I paid like 235 for them uncoated then I went and got some of that VHT spray bomb hit them with that and they look great that paint is good stuff it will not burn off and sticks very well I have used it on our turbo header where I had to fix a crack

New low boost times 11 psi 10.91 @ 128 MPH 1.76 60ft 6.98 1/8 mile. still only a 306 CID yes its been a lot faster.

I live in fort wayne your gonna have to come out some time and help me out......No one around here is really mechanically inclined....not to mention im new to fort wayne and dont know anyone......Im gonna be rebuild my 8.8 here soon ya wanna help....Ill provide the beer and grilled food.
