Yeah but i think the wiring harness is different.

As for tuning a carb, i love the simplicity of a carb, but i want a turbo... way easier to tune and perfect with a ecu, atleast the tuner i talked to. And tuning a carb isn't bad at all, but the carb i was running wasn't big enough for my application. I had 3 different tuners try to tune it and fail.

I want to be able to jump in and not change sh*t no matter what the weather is like. sounds easy.

don't judge you??? wtf???? my statement perfectly describes you so, It's accurate and if you think you can slap a bunch of parts on an efi ride and have them all work together in harmony, lol, then you have another thing coming to you, proper choice of cam, heads and intake and TB as well as proper maf ect ect along with setting fp, tps, base idle procedure, ect ect all go hand in hand with tuning an efi ride, there is no such thing as modding and making a statement of I'm going EFI cause I don't know/ want to tune my ride, that line of thinking = DEFINATE NOOB

I'm buying everything i'll need at once. I will have it tuned immediately after everything is installed by a local dyno shop.

As for turbo's being cheap... you can get really good kits for ~3k. Thats not terrible imo, i'm doing paintless dent repair right now, hopefully i'll go on the road here soon and makes some decent money so this project will get a jump start, but only time will tell.

I like turbo's more... stay out of boost for the most part and your gas mileage isn't all the much worse... supercharger and you're fu*ked reguardless lol.

And i like the idea of having 2 maps. i want a high boost and a daily boost level.

I don't want to have to change out pullies and crap lol.

Simplicity ftw!!

lol you lucky bastard.

Well i would have totally picked up a shell, don't get me wrong. But my grandmother is starting to have serious health problems now and she is the one that enabled me to purchase this car. I love her so much, we have traveled the world together. At only 18, i've been all over the Caribbean, i have been through the panama canal, and if she is able to in march i will be going to china.

I want to keep this car forever, and i will be restoring it from the ground up, i need these damn floor pans to get here so i can get to work on it again, but i have been busting my ass lately with the new job.

I worked at ford today and worked on a new kia soul that had hail so bad they have to replace the roof and hood, we fixed the hatch though lol.

And i got the pleasure of tearing down a porsche boxster haha.

Make a new thread, i love keeping up with build threads, they are exciting. So are you scrapping your current car for it?
