Turbo - more power
Supercharger - power all the time

turbos are more expensive and more effeciennt that superchargers, but with a turbo there are modifications and fiddling. as were superchargers are more simple and bolt right up with not much modifications.
turbos have more potential for power but if your on a budget go with a supercharger.

very vague and out dated info.
only a roots type blower has "power all the time" which is really just 2000rpm and up. a centrifical sc will almost always make power later then a turbo setup. a properly sized turbo to your motor will make power starting as early as 2300rpm.
