OK, thanks guys. Some good things to think about here. The t5 was supposedly built to handle that 302 (475hp he said, if it's true or not), the guy gave me all the receipts proving it so I have to trust that it was built to handle more power than the average t5... plus I'm a girl (seriously) and will be pretty gentle on the shifting! I appreciate all the comments... still haven't decided on what to use.

you'll have no problem with that t-5 supporting the 250-270 rwhp that motor will deliver

Smart man, Always nice to be able to drive the car home at the end of a racing session instead of seeing it on a trailer or tow truck.
