Thumbs up What would a S/C 5.0 run in the 1/4?

I have a 1986 mustang gt. I bought it with a paxton novi 1000 blower (6lb pulley) and a crappy tune. Ive spent about $1700 on new injectors, upper and lower intake, throttle body, fuel managment changes, custom chip and tune.. etc stuff to get it running as it should ( still cant afford new heads or a cam ).. long story short is has around 325 horsepower to the wheels.

Im picking the car up tomorrow, then im going out of town for a month,
so i wont have time to take it to the track.

What do you think a car like this could run in the 1/4 mile with a good driver?

i know its hard to say without seeing the mods, but any help would be great.
Its bad enough i have to wait a month until i driver her!

cheers!

That's too broad of a question. What do you have for suspension and tires? can you drive. You might run 14's w/ that thing. A lot of variables. Just cuz it makes power doesn't mean it will be fast.

you can't delete threads, only a mod such as I can......., anyway welcome, and I moved the thread for ya', but I'm with Pro on this one, with 322 hp 12's are possible as well as 11's but it really depends on how good a driver you are as well as how the suspension is set up

I'll be the third to chime. You should have12's no problem. I dyno'd at 339 and ran a 12.8 without even trying. Launching off idle and spinning, and I wasn't used to the 5sp either. If you can get some slicks and get a good 60ft time(1.6/1.7),Then drive it decent, you should see low 12's or 11's I would say

12.8@112; 339/365 with a bad tune.

im going to say low 12's to mid 14's depending on everything else that has to do with running a car at the track
