Disappointing 0-60, 1/8, 1/4 mi times, trap speeds, likely problems

Took the car to one service, mechanic took a ride in it and told it feels like a truck. Scheduled a repair work on Thursday, we will remove the exhaust, take it for a spin, and if it will feel better then it's most likely a clogged exhaust. In which case they are offering to replace all bungs/cats with straight pipes.
But the other friend told me that it could be that few of the cylinders are simply not working at all, and that on V6 or V8 I wouldn't even feel a difference. There is a minor vibration in a car, but I have no idea how V8 is supposed to behave. Could it be true? We are talking about car that takes 185% time to reach 60 mph and feels like a truck.
Also, guys at the service asked me about trouble codes, and I checked if the car is not OBD2 compliant, and turns out it really has an OBD2 port! Unfortunately I tried to connect to the car via EvoScan with an OpenPort 1.3 cable, and it just wouldn't connect in OBD2 mode, or any other for that matter. Also, the friends pocket-logger refused to connect to the car as well.
Is there a software I can use on Mustang to connect to it via OBD2? Do they use some proprietary protocol? Or is it because I have an OpenPort 1.3 with pin 9 removed for Mitsus?
Also I went to another service to ask about connecting to the under-hood port to perform a cylinder balance test, but they asked really high price and can't even do that through under-hood port.
The only other service that can do that said they have their logger broken...
So what are your conclusions, ideas?

I would guess that cooked O2 would smell like fuel when idling, but it doesn't smell. Mustang also has open loop operation when accelerating hard and above some 3k'ish RPMs, right?
No one can connect to this car to get a data-log...

But I could still try this one, right (http://www.muscularmustangs.com/test1.php)?
Does this car have a "Sequential Fuel Injection (SFI) Engine"?

Ok, I finally managed to connect to EEC test plug and ran a KOEO/KOER tests.
The faults were:
181 (M) Fuel system was lean at part throttle Single, Right or Rear HO2S -
542 (O,M) Fuel pump open, bad ground or always on - -
Cylinder balance test outputted 9.
Later on I measured fuel pressure at the fuel rail and it was ranging from 2 - 2.5 bar.
Seems that there are problems with wither pump or wiring. I will remove the fuel tank and see what it is.
Which cars has same pump as 95 GT?
