Tko's are great trannys I love mine. Even tho it's an earlier version of the one he's selling. It'll handle your car plus a s/c.

from what I have been around the TKO don't like to shift real well at high RPM without some mods. That may be what Prime is talking about. I have head it from a few guys that have run them. I don't know from experience from having one like I said I am a auto guy .

New low boost times 11 psi 10.91 @ 128 MPH 1.76 60ft 6.98 1/8 mile. still only a 306 CID yes its been a lot faster.

With the money you plan on spending on that built AOD you can find yourself a nice 6spd, I'd take a 6spd over an AOD anyday.

And ive never really had any problem shifting the trans. Might have something to do with the clutch?
