Default 3.90 or 4.10?

Getting ready to buy gears and want to know if I will notice a big difference between the two. The car is an 89 lx with gt40p heads, intake, and e cam. Going to run a 150 shot on the car. Its not a daily driver. More of a weekend driver with track days. Looks like the 4.10's are cheaper so I was wondering if I will see a benefit of one over the other. Thanks.

4.10's will he the faster of the 2. But a 3.90 is a good compromise between a 4.10 and a 3.73. I have 4.10's in my car. First gear gets done real quick and at 70 I'm sitting at about 2700rpms. I don't mind but I'm just saying incase you do a lot of highway driving.

There will be very little difference in the two, maybe 3-5 mph difference for the same rpm.

I'd go with the 3.90's! ...good luck!

if you don't mind bogging after you hook... go 3.73

if you'd like to have the ability to lift a tire... go 4.10's
